KATHMANDU: Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has urged private schools to continue alternative learning system as government is effortful to address their demands.
Spokesperson of the Ministry, Deepak Sharma, said that the issue would be resolved on the basis of feedback received from the stakeholders’ consultations.
The recently issued monetary policy has unveiled an arrangement for the educational entrepreneurs for expansion of deadline to pay tax while rescheduling of tax.
The Private and Boarding Schools’ Organisation Nepal (PABSON) and National Private and Boarding Schools’ Association Nepal (N-PABSAN) on July 15 had announced to halt the online classes as they were unable to pay salaries to the teachers and staff after the Ministry asked them not to collect fees for online classes from parents.
The Ministry had issued directives to implement ‘Student Learning Facilitation Directive, 2077’ in all schools across the nation from June 15.
