Nepse reaches 2,032 points, witnesses transaction of Rs 30 bln this week



KATHMANDU:  Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has reached 2,031.51 points this week. Similarly, the Sensitive Index has also reached 385.94 points.

As many as 205 companies sold their 44,766,480 units of shares for Rs 30,087,519,135 this week.

Last week, 202 companies had sold 60,603,027 units of shares for Rs 28,488,524,370. In the transaction of five days (Sunday to Thursday), the Nepse increased on the first and second day and went down on the remaining days.

On Sunday, the benchmark index went up by 46.43 points to settle at 2,010.45 points. Similarly, Sensitive Index also increased by 8.9 points to reach at 382.11 points.

Similarly, on Mondy day, Nepse went up by 56.73 points to reach at 2067.17 points while Sensitive Index increased by 6.4 points to settle at 388.16 points. In the subsequent days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), Nepse decreased by 5.75, 6.2 and 22.7 points, respectively.

Nepal Reinsurance Company, Nepal Life Insurance Company, Himalayan Distillery Ltd and Nepal Telecom made highest transactions this week.
