KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC), the main opposition party, has concluded that the policies and programs brought by the government are traditional and should be amended.

A meeting of the Parliamentary Party of the party held at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor on Saturday concluded to that end.

Speaking after the meeting, NC Chief Whip Bal Krishna Khand, said that the government’s policies and programs could not address the country’s problems.

Similarly, the meeting has also drawn the attention of the government to bring back the Nepalis stranded abroad immediately.

It has been concluded that Nepalis living abroad should be brought to Nepal as soon as possible by fulfilling the criteria and arranging necessary quarantine and health treatment in Nepal, Khand said.
