KATHMANDU: Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi has given continuity to her political meetings with Nepal’s political leaders and ministers.
On Wednesday, Ambassador Yanqi reached Singha Durbar and held talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Ishwor Pokhrel and Minister for Water Resources Barsa Man Pun.
Ambassador Yanqi discussed the progress of the under-construction Mid-Bhotekoshi Hydro Project in Sindhupalchowk with Minister Pun.
Likewise, she is leanred to have discussed the contemporary issues with Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokhrel.
The meetings with the ministers have been considered significant as Chinese Ambassador Yanqi has in recent times accelerated her political meetings with leaders of the ruling Nepal Communist Party.
