KATHMANDU: A tenant has died after being beaten by a landlord in Kirtipur of Kathmandu.
Shambhu Chaudhary, 48, of Kalaiya, Bara died after being thrashed by Premlal Maharjan of Kirtipur Municipality-7, according to Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu.
Chaudhary was seriously injured in the attack and was rushed to Kirtipur Model Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.
Police have arrested the landlord for the attack.
