Chief engineer of Nepal Water Supply Corporation held with bribe



KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested Chief Engineer of Nepal Water Supply Corporation, Butwal Santosh Sah with money whose source is unidentified.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of anti-graft body arrested him from Dhading while he was coming to Kathmandu in a vehicle with the bribe money.

The CIAA seized Rs 233,000 in cash and a bank check of Rs 22,000 from his possession, informed Taranath Adhikari, the spokesperson for the CIAA.

The CIAA said they are carrying out investigation on Sah after taking him under control.
