President appoints two non-resident ambassadors

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Wednesday appointed two non-resident ambassadors.

Nepali Ambassador to Thailand Ganesh Dhakal has been appointed as the non-resident ambassador to Singapore while Nepali Ambassador to Austria Prakash Kumar Subedi to Greece, according to the Office of the President, Shital Niwas.

Ambassador Subedi has been serving as Nepal’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva, Switzerland.

The appointment has been made on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers in line with Article 282 (1) of the constitution.
