94 coronavirus-suspects quarantined in Kharipati test negative

KATHMANDU: Around 94 coronavirus suspects kept in the Bhaktapur-based Kharibot quarantine have tested negative for COVID-19 infection.

Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr Bikash Devkota informed a regular press briefing that 94 suspected persons tested negative.

He informed media persons that a total of 113 coronavirus-suspects are being treated in isolation in different hospitals across the country.

Likewise, a survey conducted by the ministry through its website and an app has recorded a total of 8,098 people registering their complaints of symptoms of coronavirus infection in them.

Among them, 150 people have been kept in the ‘red zone’.

Dr Devkota further informed that the families of the three persons, who tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday, have been kept in quarantine.
