Police yet to locate 36 who traveled along with COVID-19 infected persons



KATHMANDU: Police are locating passengers who had traveled along with coronavirus-infected persons.

The law enforced agency is searching for passengers who had traveled on flights of Buddha Airlines and Yeti Airlines with the infected persons.

Police have already located 40 out of 56 passengers who had traveled to Pokhara from Kathmandu on a flight of Yeti Airlines along with a woman from Baglung who has been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19.

Nepal Police Spokesperson SSP Umeshraj Joshi said that they are searching for 20 passengers who had traveled with an infected man from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj through a flight of Buddha Airlines.

So far, 51 passengers have been located, according to him.
