Seven family members of infected Dhangadhi youth test negative



DHANGADHI: Seven members of the youth infected by Coronavirus, and undergoing treatment at Seti State Hospital, have tested negative to the virus.

It may be noted that one of the family members, sister-in-law, of the youth, had tested positive on Saturday.

Throat swab for COVID-19 test was collected from eight members of the youth’s family but all but one have tested negative, said the hospital spokesperson Dr. Jagadish Joshi.

The youth’s wife, four-year-old daughter, his father and mother, elder brother and nephew have all tested negative.

The infected youth had returned Nepal from Dubai via Delhi on March 20. After landing in Kathmandu, he flew to Nepalgunj and reached his home in Hasanpur, Dhangadi municipality via Attaria.
