Chinese delegation calls on PM Oli



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Monday met a Chinese delegation headed by Chief of the International Department of Chinese Communist Party (CPP) Central Committee Song Tao.

During the meeting held at Baluwatar, the prime minister’s office, Chinese leader Song said that his country was ready to help Nepal in its journey to prosperity.

The Chinese team had arrived in Nepal in what seems a probable visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping slated in November.

In reply, PM Oli tried to assure the Chinese leader that the high-level visit will be successful, adding that Nepal will also take initiation to bolster ties between the countries, according to Press Advisor to PM Oli, Dr. Kundan Aryal.
