Man arrested with undeclared cash



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a man in possession of Rs 861,500 in cash for which he could not provide a declared source.

The suspect, identified as Sabin Timalsina of Sindhupalchok, was apprehended from the New Road area of Kathmandu, according to Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, spokesperson for the Kathmandu District Police Office.

Police have launched an investigation against Timalsina on charges related to illegal money remittance after obtaining a four-day remand extension from the Kathmandu District Court.
