Karnali govt. forms Committee to investigate budget implementation



SURKHET: The government of Karnali Province has formed a committee to investigate the proper implementation of the budget allocated for the current fiscal year 2019/20.

A five-member committee has been formed headed by Dr Bhim Bahadur Khattri to investigate the implementation of the budget, informed Minister for Land Reform, Agriculture and Cooperatives, Bimala KC of Karnali Province.

The Committee, according to her, will look into the grievances coming from various quarters concerning the enforcement of the budget for the current fiscal year.

The Committee has been entrusted with the responsibility to submit its report in a month.

Likewise, the provincial council of ministers’ meeting has also instructed the agencies concerned to facilitate the implementation of the budget as per clause 9 of the Karnali Province Budget Allocation Act-2076.
