Motorcyclist dies in Chitwan road accident

CHITWAN: A person died on Sunday after the motorcycle he was riding on was struck the back of a truck at Aanptari forest area in Bharatpur metropolitan city.

Police identified the deceased as motorcyclist Arush Regmi, 23, of Bharatpur metropolis-1, Ramnagar.

The motorbike (Na 44 Pa 5017) had hit the Ramnagar-bound truck (Lu 2 Kha 690) from Aanptari from the backside. Motorcyclist Regmi had sustained critical injuries in the accident.

He died while undergoing treatment at Bharatpur-based Chitwan Medical College, District Police Office, Chitwa informed.

Meanwhile, police have impounded the truck and detained its driver for further investigation.
