Two arrested with fake Indian notes in Nepal



BIRGUNJ: Two persons have been arrested with fake Indian banknotes with a face value of IRs 190,000.

According to DSP Ananta Sharma at District Police Office Parsa, the counterfeit notes are in the denomination of IRs 2,000.

The arrested are Dilip Kumar Shah, 34, of Bahudarmai Municipality in Parsa and Jamil Akhtar, 48, of Birgunj Metropolis-2, Chhapkaiya.

Both of them were arrested from Birgunj on Thursday night, Sharma said.
