Bheri River sweeps away man in Jajarkot

JAJARKOT: A person died after being swept away by Bheri River in Jajarkot district on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as 53-year-old Man Bahadur Bohara of Bheri municipality-1.

The incident took place when Bohara had gone into the river to collect wood log swept away by the river.

Meanwhile, four households of Nalgadh municipality-3 in the district have been displaced due to landslide following the incessant rainfall.

The families of Dal Bahadur Pun, Bhumilal Pun, Laxmi Prasad Sharma and Mukunda Sharma have been taking shelter at their relative’s house after landslide put their house at risk.

Similarly, a landslide has also displaced families of Dambar Thapa and Lalit Thapa of Bangedara.
