President extends best wishes on Jitiya festival



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has wished all Nepali sisters at home and abroad celebrating the Jitiya festival peace, prosperity, mutual understanding, family goodwill and good health on the happy occasion of the Jitiya festival.

Stating that caste, linguistic and cultural diversities remaining as the specialties of the country had made several festivals unique, the Head of the State insisted that essence of such cultural festivals should be further promoted and held in great respect to create an atmosphere for building an ideal society full of good practices and conducts.
