CHITWAN: A pedestrian was killed in a road accident that took place at Jugedi on the Narayangadh-Mugling road section of Bharatpur metropolis-29 last night.
The accident took at midnight 12:30, police said. The deceased believed to be around 28 years old is yet to be identified.
He was hit by a bus, Na. 4 Kha. 2607, heading to Rolpa from Kathmandu, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan. The man died on the spot. Meanwhile, the bus driver has been taken into police custody for necessary action.
