Bhattarai, Yadav visit Jaishankar at Dwarika’s Hotel

KATHMANDU: Federal Council Chairman of Samajwadi Party Nepal Dr Baburam Bhattarai and Deputy Prime Minister and the Chairman of the same party Upendra Yadav have met with External Affairs Minister of India S Jaishankar on Thursday afternoon.

Bhattarai and Yadav visited Jaishankar at The Dwarika’s Hotel in what constitutes “a violation of diplomatic norms”.

In the meeting, the leaders discussed issues related to bilateral interest and mutual cooperation between the two countries, it is learnt.

Minister Jaishankar, who came on Wednesday to attend the Fifth Nepal-India Joint Commission meeting, will return home at 3:35 pm today after wrapping his two-day Nepal visit.
