PM Oli flies to Singapore for follow-up treatment



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has flown to Singapore for a follow-up treatment. He left for the destination at 1:30 pm by a flight of Thai Airways. Prime Minister Oli is accompanied by his wife Radhika Shakya, prime minister’s secretariat told Khabarhub.

On August 12, Oli had returned to Kathmandu after receiving treatment at National University Hospital in Singapore. He left for Singapore for follow-up treatment at the doctors’ recommendation in less than two weeks.

The meeting of the Nepal Communist Party’s (NCP) secretariat was convened this morning due to the prime minister’s schedule.

PM Oli directly headed for Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) as soon as the meeting concluded, sources said.

He will return home on September 6 by a flight of Thai Airways, said the prime minster’s secretariat.
