NCP secretariat meet begins at Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: A secretariat meeting of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has begun at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

Today’s meeting is expected to finalize the agendas of yesterday’s meeting, said Narayan Kaji Shrestha, spokesperson of the NCP.

Wednesday’s meeting discussed the appointment of chairpersons and secretaries of six metropolitan cities, and NCP diaspora committees. The agendas are likely to be sorted out today.

Meanwhile, the NCP secretariat meeting did not touch up the ‘note of dissent’ submitted by senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal. Nepal on Tuesday had registered a ‘note of dissent’ at the NCP secretariat expressing his dissatisfaction over some decisions taken by the secretariat meeting.
