PSC set to announce 13,000 vacancies



KATHMANDU: Public Service Commission (PSC) is set to announce vacancies for 13,000 staffers through a fast-track.

Even though the government planned to announce vacancies today, it was postponed citing some technical problems, PSC sources said.

PSC had asked the government to announce vacancies invoking a constitutional provision to remove difficulties.

Earlier, the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration a submitted proposal in the cabinet to fulfill the vacancies in the local units removing the legal hurdles.
