Contractors’ Association demands to amend public procurement act



KATHMANDU: The Federation of Contractors’ Associations of Nepal has demanded for amendment of Public Procurement Act (6th amendment) within a week.  The federation has demanded to amend six points of the Act published in the gazette on May 13.

The federation acting chair Nikolas Pandey demanded to manage the provision of having no qualifications and requirements of the contractures for the construction of the project of Rs 50 million replacing the existing 20 million provision.
