Lawmakers demand fair probe into Miklajung massacre

KATHMANDU: Lawmakers have demanded the government carry out a fair investigation in a gruesome massacre that claimed the lives of nine people in Miklajung Municipality-3 in Panchthar district.

Speaking at the parliament on Tuesday, lawmaker Pushpa Bhusal expressed her tributes to those murdered in the incident.

She demanded proper treatment and protection of a girl who managed to escape the massacre.

Likewise, lawmaker Devendra Raj Kandel sought the Home Minister’s reply about it publicly.
