SYANGJA: Vice President of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) Chandra Prasad Dhakal has emphasized the need to let the private sector play the lead role in the promotion of the local products, skill, and arts.
Inaugurating the Syangja Festival on Friday, Dhakal said that the responsibility of hosting such programs should be assigned to FNCCI and the organizations under its umbrella.
Citing that the objective of the fair can best be realized and materialized only by making FNCCI a stakeholder, he vowed to play the role of a facilitator as the Vice President of FNCCI while talking to the government.
The hosts of the event have expected to trade worth Rs 80 million till January 1, and over 300,000 visitors in the event.
Syangja Festival, a gala event organized at Gandaki Province level, is the 6th session in the name.
The event organized for the promotion of tourism and agriculture of the district has included tours to various parts of the districts, inter-school dance competition, volleyball competition, Lokdohori competition and Ratyauli competition as its major attractions.
