THINI: Construction of a road stretching from Thini of Gharpajhong Rural Municipality in Mustang to the Tilicho Lake has begun here. The lake is located at the highest altitude- 4,919 meter.
Infrastructure development office in Myagdi began the opening of track from Thini village of Gharpajhong rural municipality to Tilicho Lake.
Earlier, 2-km long road from Thini to Tangdung was built. Rs 5 million has been allocated for the construction of the road. State Assembly member Chandra Mohan Gauchan informed that the budget would be allocated in the next fiscal year as well to complete the construction.
For lack of roadway, it takes more than two day’s trek to reach the Tilicho Lake from Thini.
