National Assembly sends two bills to Committee

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the National Assembly (NA) has forwarded two bills to the Legislation Management Committee for clause-wise discussions.

The bills include ‘Economic Work Procedures and Financial Responsibility Bill, 2075 BS’, and ‘Safeguards, Anti-dumping and Countervailing Bill, 2075 BS’ and the.

Finance Minister Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada had earlier tabled a proposal in the NA meeting for sending the bills to the Committee for clause-wise discussions.

NA Secretary Rajendra Phuyal tabled the ‘Industrial Enterprises Bill, 2075 BS’ along with the message from the House of Representatives (HoR) in the meeting.

Likewise, the meeting unanimously endorsed for the second time the ‘Administrative Bill, 2075 BS’ with the endorsement of the amendment made by the HoR.
