Rabi Lamichhane presented at court over Pudasaini’s death

CHITWAN: Rabi Lamichhane, a program presenter at New 24 television, along with other two journalists have been presented at Chitwan District Court.

Lamichhane, Yuba Raj Kandel and Ashmita Karki were arrested on Thursday from the office of News 24 based in Panipokhari,Kathmandu over the death of Shalikram Pudasaini.

A single bench of judge Binod Kumar Gautam will decide the fate of the trio including Lamichhane later today, said Rudramani Giri, a record keeper of the Chitwan District Court.

The hearing on the case is underway now. Lamichhane’s private lawyer is also present in the court, said Giri.
