Rabi Lamichhane being produced at court today



KATHMANDU: Three people including Rabi Lamichhane, who were arrested over the death of Shalikram Pudasaini, are being produced at Chitwan District Court today.

According to SP Dan Bahadur Malla, chief of Chitwan District Police Office, the trio were taken to Chitwan on Thursday night.

Police arrested the trio for investigation after a video that mentioned the names of three persons including Lamichhane who allegedly forced Pudasaini to commit suicide went viral on social networking sites.

Pudasaini, a journalist working for Mountain Television, Kathmandu,  was found hanging in room no 202 of Chitwan-based Kangaru Hotel some days back.

Lamichhane was arrested from television office based in Panipokhari, according to DSP Hobindra Bogati, spokesperson of Metropolitan Police Range Office, Kathmandu.

Chitwan police arrested Lamichhane in coordination with Kathmandu police.
