Bangladeshi President visits Chandragiri, Patan Durbar Square



KATHMANDU: Bangladeshi President Mohammad Abdul Hamid is returning home wrapping up his four-day Nepal visit.

President visited Chandragiri and Patan Daurbar Square today. A 27-delegation comprising lawmakers, high-ranking officials from the foreign ministry of Bangladesh, officials at the Office of the President, advisers of the President, political leaders among others visited Chandragiri.

The entourage was welcomed by chairman of Chandragiri Hills Ltd Chandra Prasad Dhakal, General Manager Abhishek Shah, operator Ambika Prasad Paudel.

According to the Foreign Ministry, Hamid was scheduled to visit Chandragiri at 11 am and then Patan Durbar Square at 1 pm. He is flying back to Bangladesh at 4 pm.

President Bhadari is bidding farewell to her Bangladeshi counterpart at the Tribhuvan International Airport.

Hamaid, who came to Nepal at the invitation of President Bhandari held high level meetings with the leaders of Nepal on Wednesday.

He took a boat ride in the Phewa Lake and observed scenic beauty from Rupakot on Thursday.
