Eleven gamblers held from capital



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 11 gamblers from various places of the Kathmandu Valley. According to Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, six gamblers were apprehended from the house of Mina Lama of Kathmandu Gokaneshwor Municipality-5, Jorpati, with Rs 19, 150 in cash and a pack of playing cards.

Similarly, five gamblers were held from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-6, Boddha, while they were playing cowries at Bouddha-based Himalaya Sherpa Kitchen

Police have seized Rs 2, 790 in cash from them.
