Man arrested for raping daughter



BARIDYA: District Police Office, Bardiya has arrested a man on the charge of raping his own daughter. Police arrested the father of an 18-year-old girl who had been raping her daughter for the past few months.

The 40-year-old man whose identification has not been revealed was arrested from Madhuwan Municipality-6 along the Nepal-India border.

The girl had lodged a complaint with the police after she was raped at a hotel room in Nepalgunj on Tuesday.

Police said they are further investigating the case.
