4.8-magnitude earthquake jolts Kathmandu Valley

KATHMANDU:  An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale jolted Kathmandu Valley and adjoining districts on Thursday evening.

According to the National Seismological Center (NSC), the earthquake was recorded at 7: 11 pm with the epicenter in Sindhupalchowk district.

It was an aftershock of the 2015 earthquake, NSC said.
