Four arrested with seven kg hashish

KAILALI: Police have arrested four persons in possession of 7 kilograms of hashish from Godawari Municipality-2 in Kailali district today.

A team of police deployed by the Area Police Office, Malakhet, acting on a tip-off, held four persons with the contraband stashed in the room of Jasmal Singh Thagunna.

Area Police Office, Malakhet’s Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Gyan Bahadur Bista informed that the arrested ones were Wakil Singh Thagunna, Hikmat Singh Dhami, Jivan Singh Thagunna and Jasmal Singh Thagunna.

The arrested ones have been kept in custody at the District Police Office, Kailali for further investigation, said police.
