Fire guts house, property worth Rs 2.6 mln

ILAM: Property worth Rs 2.6 million was destroyed after a house caught fire at Shree Antu of Suryodaya Municipality-5.

The house belonging to Manbir Tamang caught fire apparently due to short-circuit, District Police Office, Ilam said.

The fire was doused by police with the help of locals.

Police said they are investigating the case.
