KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to address the closing ceremony of ongoing South Asian Games (SAG) via video conference on Tuesday.
According to Member-Secretary at the National Sports Council Ramesh Silwal, the Prime Minister will address the mega sports event’s closing ceremony via video conference from his official residence, Baluwatar, where he is taking rest after undergoing appendectomy.
Speaking at a press meet on Monday, Silwal further added that the Prime Minister Oli would make an address to the nation and announce some motivational package to the athletes.
He added that the closing ceremony would be of around one and a half hours and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Ishwar Pokharel will be the chief guest of the closing ceremony. On the occasion, SAG flag would be handed over to Pakistan, the host for the 14th SAG.
