NOC slashes prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene



KATHMANDU: Soon after Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi remotely inaugurated the Nepal-India petroleum pipeline from their offices in Kathmandu and New Delhi, the Nepal Oil Corporation, the country’s state-owned petroleum monopoly, on Tuesday slashed the price of diesel, petrol, and kerosene.

With the decision, petrol will cost Rs 107 per liter while diesel and kerosene will be available at Rs 95 per liter.

Earlier, petrol was available at Rs 109 per liter while diesel and kerosene were priced at Rs 97 per liter.

Executive Director at the NOC, Surendra Paudel informed that they have reduced the fuel prices by Rs 2.

The new price list comes into effect from 12 pm on Tuesday.
