KAPILVASTU: A man died in a car accident near Bordgaun along the East-West Highway on Monday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Suraj Pandey, 29, of Kapilvastu Municipality-9, Harnampur. He is the branch manager of Global IME, Bangai branch.
According to police, the accident occurred after the ill-fated car, Ba 6 Cha 6390, Pandey was driving went out of control and hit against the electric pole.
Other five people were injured in the accident. Two among those injured have been taken to Butwal for treatment while the rest are receiving treatment at Banganga Community Hospital, said Area Police Office, Pipara.
