Two sky trucks provided by the US land in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: Two US-donated Sky Trucks landed in Kathmandu on Sunday morning.

The sky trucks offered to Nepal Army (NA) under the Foreign Military Fund Program (FMFP) are meant to be used during emergency rescue efforts.

According to Bigyan Dev Pandey, the spokesperson of Nepal Army, the planes arrived at 2.30 AM as there were no delayed scheduled in other airports on the way.

The planes meant for disaster management and rescue efforts will be formally handed to Nepal on December 18, 2019.

Both air trucks have the capacity of carrying 18 passengers and 23 tons goods and supplies.
