ISRO locates Chandrayaan-2 lander on Moon

NEW DELHI: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has located Vikram, the Chandrayaan-2 lander, on Moon’s surface on Sunday a day after losing contact with the craft.

ISRO, however, is yet to establish contact with Vikram, Indian media reports have said. It had lost communications with the lander Vikram minutes before it was to land on the Moon on Saturday night.

ISRO could locate Vikram with the help of the Chandrayaan-2 orbiter, which is safely revolving around the Moon.
