Two coronavirus patients discharged from Koshi Hospital



BIRATNAGAR: Two coronavirus patients have recovered and discharged in Biratnagar on Sunday.

The Koshi Hospital in Biratnagar discharged the patients – one from Bhojpur and the other from Jhapa district after treatment, said Dr Deepak Sigdel, Covid-19 Treatment Centre.

Upendra Chamling of Bhojpur Hatuwagadi Rural Municipality-6, who was admitted to the hospital on April 25 and Mujair Aalam, 40, of Barhadashi, Jhapa, who was admitted to the hospital on April 26.

They were discharged after they tested negative for coronavirus, according to Dr Sigdel.

According to him, the two people will be quarantined at home for a couple of days.

With this, 16 patients have so far recovered in the hospital and discharged.

While six patients were discharged on Wednesday last week, eight others were discharged last Friday.
