Ordinances scrapped as gun turned toward NCP: Dr. Bhattarai

KATHMANDU: Senior leader of newly formed Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal and former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai commented on the ordinances revoke as the dropping of the gun formerly pointed at the Samajbadi Party turned ‘suicidal’ for Prime Minister KP Oli.

In his social account twitter, former PM Bhattarai labeled the government’s decision to repeal the most controversial ordinances as the decision taken after the gun pointed at Samajbadi Party turned back to PM Oli and his ruling Communist Party of Nepal.

Senior Leader Bhattarai has, however, demanded a thorough probe on the incidents that followed after the ordinance and has said, “ “PM Oli’s autocratic attempt and other serious crimes deserve thorough investigation.”

He has cautioned all as the democracy will always be under threat as long as KP Oli remains in power as Prime Minister.
