Two Nepalis infected with COVID-19 recover in UAE

KATHMANDU: Two Nepali nationals who were undergoing treatment after being tested for the coronavirus in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have recovered.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention of the UAE has informed that two Nepali nationals who had earlier tested for the coronavirus have recovered after treatment, the National English daily reported.

Organizing a press meet on Monday, Farida Al Hosani, chief of Infectious Disease Control Program under the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi said three people including two Nepali nationals infected with the COVID-19 have recovered after treatment.

The other recovered was Iranian national, according to Hosani.

They had tested positive for the coronavirus and were undergoing treatment. A total of 41 people among those infected in the UAE have recovered so far.
