Speaker Sapkota contributes one-month salary to COVID-19 fund



KATHMANDU: Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has contributed a one-month salary to the coronavirus fund set up by the government.

He appreciated the government’s move to establish the fund to tackle the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

The contribution will be deposited to the fund through Federal Parliament Secretariat.

Lawmaker Gagan Thapa has earlier proposed contributing one-month salary of each lawmaker to the coronavirus fund set up by the government.

Likewise, Speaker Sapkota also observed the isolation ward set up at the parliament secretariat on Monday.
