Nepali embassy urges Nepalis living in India to remain indoors



NEW DELHI: The Nepali Embassy in New Delhi has asked Nepali nationals in India to remain indoors to protect themselves and their families from getting infected with the coronavirus.

Issuing a statement on Monday, the embassy has appealed the Nepalis living in India to not move to any other places or even visit Nepal as several Indian cities and states have gone on lockdown.

It should also be noted that the government of Nepal has decided to close the border points for a week beginning Monday.

The embassy has also asked Nepalis in India not to leave their houses.
