Two cadres including Rautahat in-charge of Biplav outfit held



RAUTAHAT: Police have arrested two individuals including Rautahat district in-charge of outlawed Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav-led outfit.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of Area Police Office, Chandranigahapur led by DSP Hem Bahadur Shahi arrested Rautahat district in-charge Man Bahadur Rai alias Kumar and Kamal Gurung alias Jagat from Mahadev Danda in Chandranigahapur Municipality-3.

According to Shahi, Rai originally hails from Thalahi tole, Chandranigahapur Municipality-5 while Gurung comes from Dhorpatan Municipality-2, Burtibang.

Police have seized a grenade, a pistol, its bullets, seven mobile sets, some SIM cards, and party’s documents.

Earlier, police had arrested Rautahat district secretary of Biplav outfit Dirshana Shahi and district member Durga Bal.
