CM Pokhrel says declaring state capital is a common issue



RUPANDEHI: Chief Minister of State-5, Shankar Pokhrel today said that the issue of finalizing the state capital was a common responsibility of all.

In an address in today’s meeting of the State Assembly, Chief Minister Pokhrel claimed that the issue of announcing the State’s should be finalized addressing the aspirations of people of all places.

He said that the State Assembly will declare the capital while urging the lawmakers to initiate discussions in order to finalize the matter from this session.

Stating that it was necessary for the people of Rapti Bheri to know the feelings of the people of the Lumbini area and vice versa, Chief Minister Pokhrel urged the state lawmakers not to advocate their places only.
