Foreign Ministry to launch online document authentication system NEATS



KATHMANDU: The Department of Consular Services under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is set to launch the Nepal E-Attestation System (NEATS) to make the consular document authentication process more technology-friendly, transparent and efficient.

According to the department, the online platform has been developed to streamline applications for the consular authentication of educational certificates, recommendation letters and other basic documents issued or certified by government agencies in Nepal.

The new system aims to simplify, organize and improve the efficiency of the document authentication process through online applications.

The system will be officially launched by the Minister for Foreign Affairs on Thursday, August 14, at 3:00 pm.

The launch ceremony will be held at the assembly hall on the third floor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singha Durbar.
