Tourists need not worry about coronavirus in Nepal: Minister Bhattarai

KATHMANDU: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai on Monday said foreign tourists visiting Nepal need not worry or fear coronavirus infection in Nepal.

Minister Bhattarai said that the government is prepared to control the coronavirus infection from becoming an epidemic in the country.

He made it a point to urge tourism and aviation entrepreneurs to support the government from protecting the country from the epidemic.

Minister Bhattarai also instructed authorities concerned to tighten security checks at the international airport and other entry points.
