Speaker to take oath on Monday



KATHMANDU: Newly elected Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) Agni Prasad Sapkota is scheduled to take the oath of office and secrecy on Monday morning.

Sapkota would be sworn in by President Bidhya Devi Bhandari at the Office of the President, as per the Constitution of Nepal.

Sapkota was elected the Speaker of the HoR unopposed from the House meeting on Sunday.
